Nature of Mother's Protection

• Vol 6,  Pt. 432 Mother offers to all those who try to avail of the opportunities of democracy full protection from the play of the evil forces.
• Vol 1,  Pt. 37 Mother never punishes, never. Still, Her devotees meet with troubles. Such troubles arise from stubborn insistence on a foolish course, going out of Mother’s Protection consciously or unconsciously, or doing anything we know Mother dislikes.
• Vol 1,  Pt. 38 Mother’s Protection follows even in these cases to a great extent. Only when the personal insistence overtakes the benevolent protection, trouble arises.
• Vol 7,  Pt. 363 As long as one acts in the area where his consciousness is organised in Mother, the need to call for protection is not there. Even when he crosses that border, if he keeps Grace ahead of work or his initiative, the need to call for protection is not there.

Mother's Protection and Life

• Vol 6,  Pt. 433 Diseases lie dormant in us. They are cured by prayer or medicine only when they come to the surface. The idea, ‘Transformation of the body needs the disease’ is based on this principle. We can transform the body if our concentration on it is as intense as when it is diseased. Such a transformation is offered to man who has faith in The Mother in his physical substance.

1. The Nobel Committee that honoured Mother Teresa with Nobel prize for doing charity work failed to honour the divine Mother with a peace prize for founding Auroville which was a symbol of world unity. Why should this be so?
