667) The inmost centre of human life is the KNOT of ego. As one moves towards the Divine, the centre becomes more organised, the knot is tighter. It is impossible for the near environment not to disturb it by its touch, as the disturbing touch issues out of a law. The only way to benefit by the touch is to untie the knot.
