Character of Life Discussion in P&P: Courage

Courage can be of many types, and express is different ways. Being sincere, admitting one's mistakes and seeing the truth requires courage. In P&P, Mr. Bennet displays such courage after Lydia's elopement, and Elizabeth and Darcy do so after the Hunsford proposal. An event cannot be explained from the point of view of any one aspect, value or characteristic. Life is integral, and needs to be seen as such to be understood in its entirety.
