Character of Life Discussion in P&P: Aspiration

P&P is a story of aspiration and accomplishment. We see everyone's aspiration is fulfilled. The fulfilment is based on their personality and values. Expectation denotes a dependence on external factors, it implies waiting, weakness. On the other hand, aspiration is based on the power of human choice, the self is the determinant. To the extent we adopt values, which are supramental truths, we move away from the ego and towards the divine. This leads to accomplishment.
