Series IV

301)                   We may know of a monumental opportunity or a monumental obstacle inside us.  It may lie behind an apparently inconsequential act of the past, inconsequential to our emotion, but not to our being.  That is a true door to infinity.

302) Grace can help you escape from injustice.  Man often wants injustice to do justice to him.  This way he will get the absolute justice behind all acts which in practice is injustice.

303)       He who expects injustice to do him justice is really trying to change it, an act of ego.

304) The energy for evolution is packed inside us.  Released positively, it makes life and mind infinite.  Released negatively it explodes like the atom.

305) Releasing it positively in life is §÷»õP _ÁºUP®; in mind it is the mental organization of genius.

306)       This is the philosophic secret for the scientists working in atomic fusion.

307) Life gives little time and no information to take decisions that require lifelong experience.  This is the profoundest method of Nature which presents the opposites.

308) We cannot imagine a city that is awake at night working and asleep during the day.  But man, in following his desires actively avoids grace.  He thus becomes an example of a city awake at night.

309)       This is how man is unconsciously conscious.

310) As there is a perfect physical organisation, the vital organisation is fully evolved to preserve the social stratification.

311) By recasting that organisation for social growth, the world can become prosperous overnight, because its resources of energy and organisational ability are infinite.

312)       ©Úzøu ©ØÓÁº Aø»¯ Âk£ÁÒ ©øÚ¯õP •i¯õx.

She whose emotions can reach other men cannot aspire for wifehood.

313) The transition from man to husband is wrought in the emotional stability that is loyalty to the wife.  It is not given to a charming male.

314) The male and the female of the species become husband or wife when they acquire the emotional value of loyalty.

315)       ºa] Qͺa]¯õS®, Enºa]¯õPõx.

316) The simple – minded population dreams of an uncomplicated straight life leading to secure success enveloped in peace of mind. It does exit, but in a very limited fashion.

317) Higher life in any plane – social or spiritual – is one of complexity that is composed of strands of contradictions woven together.  The success that issues out of it is always rich but will never meet the requirements of simple-minded folks.

318) Success there comes only to those who see danger, dishonour, and shame as occasions of achievement, not those who approach them with moral ideas.

319) The spiritual truth in such situations reveals only to the inner soul and not to the surface mind.

320)       Disgrace is the divine’s face for the determined distinguished achiever.

321) As mankind is endowed at birth with all the intelligence it is now capable of, it is now equipped with all the details of all the knowledge it needs to reach the acme of prosperity and vital happiness.  Only that it has to accept the new goal.

322) All new processes to neutralize or avoid pollutants can be discovered by a team of good-natured scientists who seek them.

323)       Each product bears the stamp of the inner nature of its discoverer.

324)       It is the inferiority complex of Oppenheimer that produced the atom bomb.

325) Native goodness of inner nature and wholeness of vision in the perspective of fusion can evolve the formula of atomic fusion.

326) Release of atomic power by fusion, triggering the social energies for overwhelming prosperity, and discovering the alternates for all the pollutants are evolutionary aims of humanity in its social existence.

327) “I am an ordinary man” is the response of idealists or those that are with him when confronted with the risks the ideal demands.  They mean they are there to harvest the benefits of the ideal and not work to achieve it.

328) Those who claim to be practical fall under one of the following categories:

·            Progress to the utmost horizontally achieving greater heights of the existing  establishment.

·            Those who end up achieving practically nothing.

·            Those who are incapable of mental conception.

329) Yogic discipline requires avoidance of several things of which many acts that are considered sins by people are included.  An indication of attaining yogic equality or inner accomplishment is to select one of these prohibited acts and do it for yogic progress.  That progress will be in the field of that act.

330) Yogic process is austere and makes for a result of ananda.  In integral Yoga even the very process is one of ananda which the sadhak discovers on entering the process.

331) Only for the evolving godhead the path too is one of ananda.

332) Every act of joy, pleasure – not from the moralist’s point of view – is an act of soul meeting soul or soul trying to emerge.

333) Every act of pain, suffering, tyranny or cruelty is equally a point of the soul’s emergence.  In fact, all acts are such.

334) Only for the divided ego consciousness that is unconscious it appears as pain, not to the soul behind.

335) Should it really be pain or cruelty, it amounts to saying that God, in his Lila, seeks joy through pain.

336) From the viewpoint of God, there is only delight in involution as well as evolution, rather the delight becomes greater the farther we travel on the journey.

337) Pain is only for the ego, not for the soul, not even for the spark of soul that gives life to ego.

338) Maybe pain is an incentive for the ego to get out of it.

339) He who emerges out of ego cannot meet with pain anywhere.

340) It is obvious since pain is a vital, mental sensation which the soul cannot know.

Bhakti is seeking God.  To await His overtaking you, possessing you and enjoying you as he would enjoy a woman is consummate faith.  To reach out to Him so as to possess Him for higher enjoyment is yogs siddhi.

342)          Each moment is a moment of greatest accomplishment for any man till then, since the soul inside continues to grow.  Only that he is not conscious of it.

343)          Contradictions are like the tooth and the wheel which in their right alignment make for efficient use.  What hurts is not the tooth but the wrong alignment.

344)          What is evil for me, is not so for one who inflicts it on me or for God who offers it as grace to both of us.  Even in me the soul does not find the evil, only my mind.

345)          Mental patience can have an end; the patience of the soul is endless.  For soul it is a native trait while mind has acquired it.

346)          The actors in a drama, the audience and the author of the story all know it is a fiction and enjoy every bit of it, asking more and more of it.

347)          None of them commits the error of taking the play to be real as man does in the lila of God.  That is what He describes as the difficulty of realising the individual as the Eternal.

348)          One of the virtues of a great book like.  The life Divine is it is capable of making real to the reader commonplace truths by which it initiates a spiritual experience in the reader.

349)          The man of acute imagination enjoys life most there.  Even the physical accomplishment in the material plane is insipid before that.

350)          Availing of a higher plane’s force for creative progress involves appreciation on the part of the recipient in the lower plane.  Holmes’ mystification or chaffing necessarily fills this gap when the beneficiary is unconscious through his formality.
